Product Description
ROS1 (ROS proto-oncogene 1, receptor tyrosine kinase) gene encodes a receptor tyrosine kinase. When fused with SLC34A2, CD74 and other genes, it will continue to activate the ROS1 tyrosine kinase domain and downstream JAK/STAT, PI3K /AKT, RAS/MAPK and other signaling pathways, causing tumorigenesis. Studies have shown that crizotinib, a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor, has a significant anti-tumor effect on patients with non-small cell lung cancer containing the ROS1 fusion gene, which provides a second effective treatment for crizotinib subgroup of patients.
This kit adopts one-step reverse transcription fluorescent PCR (RT-QPCR) method, which is easy to operate and can detect the fusion types of 10 ROS1 genes (CD74-ROS1, EZR-ROS1, SDC4-ROS1, LRIG3-ROS1, TPM3-ROS1, SLC34A2 -ROS1) to assist clinicians in screening non-small cell lung cancer patients who may benefit from crizotinib.
